The occasion of the iPod contest was to mark the launch of the latest in the Kick Ass network of sites: Porno4Portables.com. To spread the word, the contest was twofold: one for industry folks; the other for the industry’s backbone — the fans.
Ben Gonzalez, a buyer for F Street Books in San Diego, California said, “This is great; it saved me from having to buy my own video iPod! Kick Ass movies are consistently some of the best sellers in our stores. From what I’ve seen, these online iPod movies are actually helping to drive sales in our store. They’re a great form of advertising.”
When notified that he’d won, DJ Carl, a fan all the way from Orlando, Fla., exclaimed, "I'm so happy that I won a video iPod from Kick Ass! I've seen all their movies. I especially loved Bianca Pureheart in "10 Man Cum Slam 8." These guys really do kick ass."
Kick Ass claims to have more full scenes available for download to iPods and other portable devices than any other company. Porno4Portables.com, like all the Kick Ass sites, has daily updates that members can download as mp4s, podcasts or iPod optimized photosets.
