Johnny Knox Signs With Shy Love, Series Planned

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — Newcomer Johnny Knox signed a non exclusive contract this week to perform and direct for Shy Love Productions.

Knox will make his screen debut with the March 14 release of Shy Love’s “That 70’s Ho,” distributed by Vicious Media, and also starring Love, Brooke Haven, Jenna Presley, Nadia Styles and Roxy Jezelle.

Knox also has agreed to direct his own series, “School of Hard Knox,” for the company. With several volumes slated for release in 2006, the Knox series plans to focus on female newcomers to the adult world.

“When I had my first opportunity to [perform in an adult film] I was hooked,” said Knox, who got his first taste of porn during an Internet shoot with then-wife Kelly Erikson in 2001. “Now signing with Shy Love Productions, my dreams are coming true. I not only get to work with Shy’s Vicious Girls, who are extremely hot, but also with new girls for my series.”

Erikson and Shy also have worked together extensively, touring the strip club circuit together in 2005, but Shy said her friendship with Erikson wasn’t why she hired Knox.

“I knew I had to sign him once I realized how hilarious he was on camera,” Shy said. “I can’t wait to see what he has up his sleeves.”

Knox’ upcoming series hopes to be both erotic as well as humorous, something Fletch, Vicious Media’s director of sales and marketing, said Knox already has proven he can do.

“Knox is a professional,” Fletch said of Knox’ performance during the filming of “The 70’s Ho.” “The girls love him and the fans will too. He can fuck and be funny at the same time; now that’s talent.”
