Lovehoney Wins 2 ETO Awards

BATH, England — Lovehoney was named Best Online Retailer and Success Story of the Year at the 2011 ETO Awards.

Lovehoney beat off competitors including Ann Summers to win the Best Online Retailer award for a fourth year. The company also won the Success Story of the Year award for its continued innovation and business growth in the U.K. and expansion into the U.S. market.

Lovehoney said it currently sells one in three sex toys purchased online, making it U.K.'s largest online adult retailer. The company reports sales of 13.4 million pounds for the year 2010/2011, an increase of 3 million on the previous year.

Lovehoney also acquired online lingerie retailer in April, launched several new product ranges and completed a 1 million pound refurbishment of its warehouse and offices in Bath, doubling it in size. Its U.S. operation, based in Dallas, has also achieved significant growth, the company said.
