LOS ANGELES — Director Paul Thomas has revealed some of the principal cast members for his upcoming parody of the classic film “The Graduate.”
Set to begin shooting this Saturday, the movie will star India Summer as Mrs. Robinson, Raven Alexis as Elaine Robinson, Veronica Avluv as Mrs. Braddock and Anthony Rosano as Benjamin Braddock.
The porn parody is an homage to the 1967 film about a recent college graduate who is seduced by an older woman and then falls in love with her daughter. The movie is a Paul Thomas Production that will be released by Howard Levine’s Exile Distribution in the Fall.
“India Summer is Mrs. Robinson because she is smoking hot and knows how to act really, really well,” Levine said Tuesday. “Everybody had to read for these parts. It wasn’t like, ‘Hey, we like the way you look, you’re hired.’ They auditioned, they had rehearsals. It’s back to being a very high-end, PT movie.”
Levine called Avluv an “uber MILF."
“Veronica is one of the star talents from the newly formed 101 Modeling,” he said. “She is one of the top five downloaded MIILFs on the Internet today. She is beyond amazing.
"This is one of her first big feature roles that will showcase her ability to wow the market.”
Rosano is a veteran parody actor who has been a leading man for several years, while Alexis is becoming known for her range as an actress. Additional cast members are still being determined, Levine said.
“Paul Thomas will be donning his very famous, khaki vest again to direct the ultimate parody of ‘The Graduate,’” Levine said. “We want to raise the bar for the parody. We want to do really iconic films, not by making them funny but remaking them and parodying that film where it’s really enjoyable to watch and has unbelievable gonzo sex in it at the same time.
“The people that are in this were picked because they auditioned and they were hired mainly for their acting ability and second for their sexual prowess.”
Meanwhile, Levine said that Exile Distribution would soon be announcing the release of a celebrity sex tape under a newly formed Exquisite Celebrity banner. Without revealing her identity, he said the star is “the most beautiful girl that’s ever been in a celebrity sex tape.”
