LOS ANGELES — Eleven copyright infringement suits were filed against thousands of alleged porn BitTorrent users last week — one of the busiest in terms of adult copyright litigation.
Studios such as Elegant Angel filed suit in federal court against 2,590 who allegedly made available "Real Female Orgasms 10." Third Degree Films filed against 3,577 for "Busty Office Milfs 2," while New Sensations sued 1,474 (the previous week it filed against 1,745).
Meanwhile, Zero Tolerance sued 2,996 John Does, while Hard Drive Productions filed three suits against 87 over its "Amateur Allure" videos.
Pacific Century International sued 34 and Corbin Fisher continued its litigation by filing against two swarms involving 24 Does for poaching "Down on the Farm."
Pink Lotus Entertainment also filed a suit. This one targeted alleged 53 poachers of "Dexxxter.
All of the suits seek court approval to identify John Doe defendants via subpoenas through their Internet service providers.
