FSC to World-Premiere Anti-Piracy Action Program at XBIZ EU 2011

LOS ANGELES — XBIZ is pleased to announce that it will host the global introduction of the FSC’s Anti-Piracy Action Program (APAP) at the highly anticipated XBIZ EU 2011 international digital media conference.

XBIZ EU 2011 is slated for Sept. 23-25 at the Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury hotel in London, offering three days of international business-networking and deal-making opportunities, as well as cutting-edge educational seminars and technology workshops.

“FSC and Vobile have had a number of opportunities to familiarize adult businesses with APAP in the U.S.,” FSC Executive Director Diane Duke said. “We appreciate the opportunity that XBIZ has provided that will allow us to present this valuable program to our friends in Europe.”

Vobile’s Mediawise technology allows fingerprinted digital content to be detected by tube sites prior to being uploaded. At that point, APAP tube site operators prevent the illegal content from being posted and, instead, post an approved trailer or truncated version of the scene.

Users who view the content are offered an option to purchase the original content or visit the content producer’s website. If a purchase is made, this effectively creates a revenue share affiliation for the tube site and the content producer, and a new stream of revenue for both parties.

In addition to Vobile’s Mediawise technology addressing the tube sites, APAP’s Porn Guardian’s program addresses P2P, cyberlockers and torrents.

Content providers currently participating in the FSC-APAP program include Wicked Pictures, Girlfriends Films, Adam and Eve, Hustler/LFP, New Sensations, Digital Playground, AEBN, Vince Voyeur, Severe Society Films, Titan Media, Channel 1 Releasing, Bel Ami, Hot House Entertainment, Kristen Bjorn Productions, Raging Stallion Studios, Falcon Studios, Hot Desert Knights, Factory Video, Corbin Fisher, Bear Films, Pacific Sun Entertainment, Treasure Island Media and OCCash.

For a limited time, XBIZ is offering free registration for those who secure their Radisson Edwardian Bloomsbury hotel room.
