First Film From Vouyer, Orenstein

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Vouyer Media, the new gonzo production company launched late last year by Vince Vouyer and Steve Orenstein, is set to debut its first film this week. Directed by Vouyer, “The Gauntlet” is expected to hit shelves Feb. 15.

Dubbed “The Gauntlet” because of the myriad sexual situations its young stars must face, the film follows Nollie, Chelsea and 18-year-old Maya through a house where unknown sexual experiences await behind each door.

Vouyer and Orenstein first began collaborating when Vouyer left Red Light District in November. Vouyer told XBiz he was looking to “really push the line” in the hardcore gonzo market, and was pleasantly surprised when he discovered Orenstein was interested in being involved.

“To keep doing what I love to do, I had to leave [Red Light District],” Vouyer told XBiz. “The partnership with Steve came at the perfect time.”

Also scheduled for February is Vouyer’s “Make Me Creamy,” which features starlet Renee Richards in her first cream pie, and “The Mope Squad,” directed by veteran Tim Von Swine, who Vouyer knew during his years at Red Light District.

“[The Mope Squad] really twists the usual situations,” Vouyer said. “Rather than having the girls come in to prove they have what it takes to succeed, we have the girls making the guys prove themselves. The movie has turned out really well.”

Vouyer’s third film for the company, “Who’s That Girl?” is scheduled for a March release. Vouyer said the film would focus on highlighting the freshest faces on the market.
