Grabby Awards Winners Announced

CHICAGO — The 2011 Grabby Awards on Saturday night attracted a galaxy of gay porn stars and their fans who honored gay adult industry's best talent and performers, including big-winner Brent Everett, who won the Best Actor award and shared the Performer of the Year award with Samuel Colt.

And Raging Stallion/Falcon Studios took home 10 awards, including three for "Brutal 1 &
2," the two-part epic, which won for Best Director, Best Videographer and Best
Supporting Actor. Raging Stallion/Falcon received 60 nominations for the Grabbys.

"Stars have flown in from all over the country and world for the most anticipated weekend in the industry," Stacy Bridges told GoPride.com of the evening’s festivities hosted by Chi Chi LaRue and Honey West,

Bridges and Mark Nagel, the show's organizers and producers, called this year's award ceremony at Chicago's Park West Theatre another success of the awards program presented by Grab Magazine. The show coincides annually with International Mr. Leather over Memorial Day weekend.

Other award winners included Next Door Studios, which won Best Original Content, and Naked Sword, which won Best VOD Site. Channel 1 Releasing won Best Affiliate Program.

Sister Roma, Steve Shay, Brandon Baker and Dean Monroe all were presented with a Grabby Wall of Fame awards and the Gay Porn Times won Best Porn Blog.

Chris Ward, president of Raging Stallion/Falcon Studios, said that his company was honored for "overwhelming recognition."

"This is a testament to the talent and hard work that our directors, models and staff members bring to every production, and I am tremendously proud of all of them," he said.
