Sascha to Sell Canoga Park Production Studio

CANOGA PARK, Calif. One of adult's most frequently used studio spaces is for sale.

Sascha Libido has announced that his production studio, Film Studios LA, is on the market for an estimated price of $475,000.

He plans to offer the entire "turnkey" operation as a single package. Located in the Canoga Park area of the San Fernando Valley, the studio has also been known as Studio 8033.

The space is a regular shoot destination for adult companies such as Hustler Video, Wicked Pictures, Digital Playground and numerous others in both mainstream and adult entertainment.

In 2010, Film Studios LA facilitated 400 production bookings. Many of those productions utilized the in-house production design team, which creates custom sets. In addition to the physical assets of the studio and many of the trained personnel remaining intact, the purchaser will also receive the studio's "black book" of contacts and clients.

Sascha, a veteran performer with more than 1000 scenes to his credit, founded the studio in 2005 in a single warehouse, with himself as the only worker. Since that time, it has grown to encompass five fully functioning studios with makeup, wardrobe, offices, a workshop and more than 10,000 square feet of stored props.

"After many years of hard work I believe the business is now a turnkey investment, and more importantly, this transition will allow me to focus exclusively on manufacturing what I believe to be the most revolutionary piece of adult toy technology to date," Sascha said.

He has filed a patent application and entered into a partnership with a German firm to further develop and manufacture "a toy allowing real sex with anyone, anywhere, any time." The target date for release of their device is Fall, 2012.
