MIAMI — SensualSteals.com’s Kelly Perez, organizer of the first-ever XBIZ.net Miami Gathering, said that the inaugural event was a success drawing a varied mix of professionals from different sectors of the adult industry.
Perez told XBIZ that close to 60 people arrived at the Townhouse Hotel’s Rooftop Lounge, overlooking Miami Beach, on Friday evening for the Gathering. Attendees had expertise in varying fields, including law, affiliate marketing, mobile and novelty.
Among the attendees were representatives from MojoHost and TeamSkeet.com, along with Ryulion.com’s Alex Ocampo, Mark from SecretToolbox.com, and Casey O’Connell from Wet for Her.
“I would have been just satisfied had only 15 people showed up,” Perez said, “however, the first-ever XBIZ.net Miami Gathering was a success. Thanks to the diverse crowd that attended, networking was incredibly dynamic. The venue also played a role in the success of last week’s Gathering. The weather was great; there was good music, drinks and an excellent view of downtown that created a relaxing environment for people to network effectively.
“I’m looking forward to the next one — it’s destined to grow and with enough support, I think future Gatherings can be set up at an exclusive venue.”
Perez’s company, SensualSteals.com, bills itself as the first and only deal-a-day retail website focusing on sensual items. Each day a new adult product, ranging from vibrators, restraints and lingerie, is featured on the site as a “Sensual Steal” and sold at prices discounted 40-80 percent off.
