Sexpo Australia Sells Out, Expands Venue

MELBOURNE, Australia — Organizers for Sexpo Australia announced today that the May 26-29 expo has sold out of exhibition space.

The bi-annual show is being held in Perth-Western Australia and is featuring adult star Katsuni, Zero Tolerance’s Kagney Lynn Karter and Michelle ‘Bombshell’ McGee.

In additional to the star line up, the event is holding “Sex Seminars” with the Sexpo Sexpert, the national launch of the Shag Factory Love Lounge, burlesque days, fast dating, fetish displays, product demos by Sportsheets, Pjur, Male Edge and more.

The producers have also announced that its Brisbane Sexpo planned for July, has been sold out for over two months.

According to the show organizers, the demand for space at Sexpo has grown significantly over the two years and resulted in the expansion of the November Melbourne Sexpo to about 13,000 square feet and the moving of dates and venues for the Sydney show to March 2012 at Sydney Convention & Exhibition Centre Darling Harbour.

“The move to the Darling Harbour is a major step forward for Sexpo. We have had to expand to meet exhibitor demand and we now have a venue in the heart of Sydney CBD, next to the iconic Opera House” said Rob Godwin, general manager.

Sexpo officials said they will also be launching a new regional show and expansion into Europe during 2012.
