Cal Exotics Hires Desiree Duffie, Nichole Grossmann

CHINO, Calif. — California Exotics Novelties is expanding its marketing department with public relations and social media, hiring Desiree Duffie director of public relations and Nichole Grossmann as social media and marketing assistant. Both women assume newly created roles in the company.

"As California Exotics expands, so does our need for aggressive, targeted, public relations and social media strategies. To keep our edge we brought in talent who can increase our company profile in both traditional and new media," said Al Bloom, director of marketing of California Exotics.

Duffie has been in the novelty industry nearly five years. A graduate of Marian University, she spent her early career in the radio, entertainment, and non-profit fields. Skilled at planning and executing public relations campaigns, Duffie is charged with strategic promotion of specific product collections and media relations.

Duffie said, "California Exotics' consummate reputation both inside and outside of the industry is unparalleled. I'm honored to be a part of Susan Colvin's impeccable corporate culture and involved with the promotion of such highly regarded products."

Grossmann graduated from the University of La Verne and worked in sales and direct marketing before joining the California Exotics team. Savvy in the world of social networking and emerging technology, Grossmann oversees the California Exotics Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Sexual Wellness and Sexpert Blog pages.

Grossmann said, "Managing social media for a progressive, sex-positive company like California Exotics is fun and rewarding. We have a lot of exciting plans in this ever-expanding field and I'm thrilled to be a part of it."

"I welcome both ladies to the CalExotics' team and look forward to all the innovative media strategies we'll soon develop," said Susan Colvin, president and founder of California Exotics.
