B. Cumming Co. Test Its Hybrid Lube, Determines Safe for Use With Silicone Toys

SUN VALLEY, Calif. — Lube manufacturer B. Cumming Co. has held internal testing using its Encounter Silk and Fusion Double Impact silicone hybrid lubricants with toys made of silicone and has concluded that both lubricants are compatible with silicone toys.

“After multiple customers asking us if our hybrids can be used with silicone toys we decided to test it out for ourselves,” said David Mazer, founder of B Cumming Co. “We are excited to announce the newfound compatibility of both Fusion and Encounter Hybrid formulas.

“Traditionally, toys made of 100 percent silicone cannot be used with any type of silicone lubricant, as the silicone lubricant will start to break down the silicone toy,” he explains. “After performing extensive testing using our Encounter Silk and Fusion Double Impact with silicone toys, we are happy to report that both are completely compatible without any material reaction.”

Encounter Silk & Fusion Double Impact are hybrid formulas, coupling together the manufacturer’s high-grade silicone and water-based lubricants. In addition to being silicone toy compatible, Mazer explains other performance benefits discovered during the recent lab tests.

“During our recent testing we were thrilled to discover each formula is not only silicone toy compatible, they clean up easily and do not stain,” he continues. “Our Encounter Silk & Fusion Double Impact hybrids are formulated to offer the long lasting performance people enjoy with silicone without the drawback of it being difficult to wash off or staining sheets. Now, people can use them with their favorite silicone toys and still have peace of mind.”
