Dick Delaware to Fight in Rage in the Cage Saturday

LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Dick Delaware, aka Aaron Brink, will return to professional MMA competition on Saturday night in Rage in the Cage 151 at the Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, Ariz.

Delaware, who plays Electro in Axel Braun’s upcoming “Spider-man XXX,” will face Shawn Frye in a 205-pound featured bout. He last fought on March 19 in Rage in the Cage 150, knocking out Larry Robertson in 55 seconds to improve his career record to 24-20.

“My feeling is I’m better than this guy, I’m more prepared than he is,” Delaware told XBIZ.

Win or lose against Frye (5-6) on Saturday, Delaware has a big fight coming up against fellow UFC veteran Kevin Randleman. The two will meet on June 25 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in the MMA Xplosion promotion.

Delaware, a Huntington Beach, Calif., native who began his MMA career more than 11 years ago and has performed in adult movies since 2002, said he wants to fight as many times as possible this year.

In between competition, he intends to continue doing porn. In addition to his role in “Spider-man,” he also recently played the character of Joe in director Lee Roy Myers’ parody of “Family Guy.”

“I fit the profile for the role,” Delaware said.

The notorious performer also soon will be back on national television. He and his wife, performer Cassandra Cruz, on April 1 taped an episode of “Divorce Court” in Beverly Hills. Cruz won a $1,200 judgment against him on the show, and the couple now has the option of going to arbitration or seeking marriage counseling, Delaware said.

He and his wife previously appeared on an episode of “Intervention” in 2009 when Brink was battling substance abuse. The performer/fighter said that a “Divorce Court” rep contacted him online.

“I was approached by the executive assistant of the producer via email and she said, 'You have a very interesting story, would you come on this show?'” Brink said. “The ‘Divorce Court’ lady became really agitated and ruled in favor of [Cassandra].”

The "Divorce Court" episode with Brink has yet to air.
