LOS ANGELES — Urban X Awards organizers announced this is the final week for companies to submit there movies for category nominations.
The deadline is April 15 to have the online form complete. Some of the movie categories include Black, Latin, Asian, interracial, MILF, anal, Parody of the Year, POV, Feature Movie of the Year, BBW, and transsexual categories.
The fourth annual Urban X Awards will be hosted by Alexander DeVoe and Nyomi Banxxx, with red carpet hosted by Lisa Ann. It will be held on July 23 at 740 Club in downtown Los Angeles.
This year Urban X has added gay movie and internet categories.
"We are proud to announce Black Rayne Productions as our first gay company to submit for categories, and for them taking it a step further and becoming our first gay company to sponsor the awards show," Urban X announced in a press release. "As part of our non-discrimination policy, we have opened up these categories and have since received positive feedback from professionals representing all sides of the adult industry."
Pre-noms for internet categories will continue to be accepted through April 18. Movies can be submitted through the Urban X Awards website, www.urbanxawards.com, and any movies being shipped must have the submission for dated by April 15.
