Vicky Vette Passes 100K Follower Twitter Mark

LOS ANGELES — Adult star Vicky Vette said today that she is the first adult MILF performer to reach the 100,000 follower mark on Twitter.

Vette, whose website was nominated for XBIZ 2011 Best MILF award, said she is the fifth adult star to currently have more than 100,000 Twitter followers joining Bree Olson, Sasha Grey, Jenna Jameson and Pinky as compiled by FameRegistry

On reaching the 100,000 follower mark Vette said,  "It's definitely cool to be the first MILF in adult to reach 100K followers. Twitter has become a critical part of maintaining contact with and building new fans through social networking. The marketing and networking connections are limitless."

She added, "To be honest, I am kind of shocked so many people care what the hell I tweet. There are plenty of super popular adult stars out there so being the first MILF to reach 100,000 is sweet."

The star noted that adult has a long way to go for manstream acceptance in social networking and hopes that "Maybe one day it won't be considered a bad thing to follow a porn star."

"I just hope I can make it to 1 million followers before I become a GILF," she quipped.

Vette can be reached for comment at VickyatHome or on Twitter.
