Heart was born in San Francisco and grew up in Santa Barbara. While attending college she started dancing in a gentlemen’s club at age 18, which led to modeling and acting in some adult films.
After only four months in the business, she was offered contracts by three adult studios, according to Vivid press materials. She said she chose Vivid because she admires several of the Vivid Girls and wanted to act with them.
“I was impressed with Lacie’s naturally sexy California Girl look and spirit,” Vivid co-founder Steven Hirsch said. “She has a wonderfully appealing, fresh appearance that is also very, very hot.”
