Penthouse 3D to Air on French TV

LOS ANGELES — French broadcaster Free, which operates 3D channels in France, will now carry the Penthouse 3D channel.

Free has added the channel to its line up of programming. Penthouse expects to introduce its 3D channel to additional European carriers this year.

Free subscribers who have a HD TV box receive 3D and VOD services such as movies, series, concerts and documentaries without the need for any specific upgrades.

Marc Bell, CEO of FriendFinder Networks, which owns the Penthouse TV channels, said the company is excited to launch the first adult 3D channel in France and is looking forward to the partnership with Free.

Penthouse 3D was launched March 1 on Europe’s Astra network.
