Mile High Media Unveils New Studio Sweet Sinema

MONTREAL — Mile High Media has announced that Sweet Sinema is the newest addition to its portfolio of studios.

Led by producer/director Nica Noelle, Mile High said that Sweet Sinema is an alternative to the numerous parodies currently in the market. While Sweet Sinema movies will be inspired by Hollywood classics, they will be unique interpretations, the company said.

Sweet Sinema intends to combine complex storylines and characters with intense sexual performances. And like its sister studios Sweetheart Video and Sweet Sinner, Sweet Sinema is being developed with couples in mind.

Mile Media vice president Jon Blitt remarked, "Nica Noelle has become one of the most prolific talents in adult entertainment. Her writing and directing skills continue to expand, and she helped make Sweetheart Video and Sweet Sinner two of the most popular adult studios, as awards from VOD site AEBN.net demonstrate. With the recent success surrounding Nica's adaptation of 'The Graduate' ('My Girlfriend's Mother'), we saw an opportunity for a great new studio catering to the feature niche."

Noelle, an 2011 XBIZ nominee for Director of the Year for Body of Work, also writes and produces her story-driven movies. In 2010 she collected two Feminist Porn Awards and two AEBN awards, for Best Feature Film and Best Lesbian Movie.

When she isn't making films, the former journalist also frequently contributes columns to Hustler magazine and XBIZ Premiere. In addition, she hosts Radio Dentata's new show "Intellectual Intercourse with Nica Noelle" online.

"I am so excited to help build another studio for Mile High Media," Noelle said. "Jon and the rest of the company have always demonstrated a lot of trust and confidence in my creative vision, and I thank them for the opportunity. Sweet Sinema is all about fantasies, feeding the desires of cinephiles, who wished their favorite movies went a little farther into the erotic."

Sweet Sinema compliments Mile High's already established studio brands which include Sweetheart Video, Sweet Sinner, Reality Junkies and its original production house Doghouse Digital
