Google Rolls Out New Style Profile Pages

MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. — Google has launched a new profile page, which the company said highlights the most important information for account holders.

Existing Google profiles will update to the new style automatically, which the company also claims will enable user to "control and enrich" their public profile.

"While profiles work well for individuals, we'll continue to work on new ways for businesses to engage with their customers, so stay tuned for updates," Google product manager Greg Marra said.

Experts say the move represents Google's shift towards establishing a wider social platform that it hopes would eventually rival Facebook, which is used by numerous adult industry performers, producers and companies.
