Homegrown Video Snags XBIZ Niche Studio of the Year Award

SAN DIEGO— Homegrown Video has received numerous awards for its content over the years, but one accolade has always eluded the company: an XBIZ award.

That changed on Feb. 9, when the leading amateur studio earned the Niche Studio of the Year honor at the ninth annual XBIZ Awards at the Hollywood Palladium.

Homegrown Video has labored to prove that not only is its brand of homemade amateur porn still relevant to the fans, but that the company is a vital player in the adult industry. Homegrown Video’s content has proved successful across DVD and broadcast television platforms, while continuing to grow and thrive online.

“We are definitely excited about our award for Niche Studio of the Year, and it couldn’t have been timelier,” said Farrell T., president of Homegrown Video. “We have a long list of new projects set to come online in the next few months, including an upgrade of our flagship site HomegrownVideo.com, new tours, custom join pages and a host of great promo tools for affiliates, as well as a brand new mobile version. 2011 is off to a great start!”

Winner of more adult awards for amateur content than any other, Homegrown Video has branded itself as the original amateur adult video company, established in 1982. Homegrown has been recognized by Newsweek as the “longest running series in the history of porn.”
