D&E — the initials of company founders David Adamson and Eddie Allens — will market and distribute the new line, based on content originating on Pride Bucks’ websites.
The first DVD to be released under the new agreement, “Meet the Meat: Volume 1,” was developed from content off Pride Bucks’ popular CircleJerkBoys.com site.
“We know the people at Pride Studios because we’re both local here,” Adamson told XBiz. “They are an excellent studio to work with and we always share models. They wanted to start a line and they knew we could do that, and then they said they wanted us to distribute it as well.”
“Meet the Meat: Volume 1” is scheduled to hit shelves by mid-February 2006 and will include new footage not previously available on CircleJerkBoys.com, Adamson said. Upcoming DVDs will feature video from other Pride Bucks sites, including ExtraBigDicks.com, MenOver30.com, BoysGoneBad.com and TrueTwinks.com.
“One of the things we wanted was original content,” Adamson said. “So there will be stuff on the DVDs that the consumers won’t be able to see on the websites. But of course some of the content will also be available online.”
Launched five years ago, D&E currently distributes 28 original gay titles, not counting the Pride Studios deal. The company also is planning a new line, “Seymour Dicks,” slated for launch sometime in March.
“I like Seymour Butts and in the gay world we don’t have someone like that,” Adamson said. “So I’m doing this spin off. It is going to totally separate from D&E.”
