Adult Retail Heavyweights to Offer ‘Blueprint for Success’ at XBIZ Retail

LOS ANGELES — The inaugural XBIZ Retail Expo will kick off with the “Best Practices: A Blueprint for Adult Retail Success” seminar, featuring a panel of distinguished adult retail chain leaders that will come together to map out their most effective operating strategies and plans.

The session will include Castle Megastore’s Mark Franks, Hustler Hollywood’s Theresa Flynt, Good Vibrations’ Joel Kaminsky, Adam & Eve’s Bob Christian and Peekay’s Phyllis Heppenstall.

Sid Grief, an industry vet and board president of the Free Speech Coalition, will moderate the seminar.

“‘Best Practices’ are what create favorable odds for success in our business environment,” Grief said. “If you listen to successful retailers’ advice, analyze their strategies, and adapt their techniques to your own business, you can increase your odds of success. Even one new idea that you can use to increase your bottom line is easily worth more than the cost of attending this panel.”

The “Best Practices” panel promises to deliver a recipe for success based on years of "street-smarts" and sophisticated business acumen that have proven to yield marketplace excellence and improved across-the-board sales.

From Feb. 9-11, the XBIZ Retail Expo is set to draw buyers representing more than 700 retail operations with three days of world-class seminars, product debuts and showcases and unlimited business-networking opportunities inside the event’s intimate venue, the luxurious Sofitel Hotel.

An expanded exhibiting hall will include suites on the hotel’s 10th floor featuring the industry’s leading manufacturers, which will showcase their latest and greatest product releases.
