“It’s going to be a great event — sponsors will be able to entertain associates in a casual atmosphere,” said Joanne Cachapero, FSC's membership director.
“We’re planning some surprises for guests. The party will have a Valentine-theme and you’ll get to rub elbows with some of the grooviest people, models and professionals in the industry. And you won’t have to drive anywhere.”
The event is scheduled for Feb. 10, from 7-10 p.m. in the Stone Rose Lounge located in the Sofitel Hotel, which is the retail show venue.
The party will follow the keynote address from Hustler founder and free speech advocate Larry Flynt, also to be held in the Stone Rose Lounge at 4:15 p.m.
Winners and nominees from the previous evening’s XBIZ Awards also are invited to attend the Free Love Lounge event and celebrate with XBIZ Retail Show participants. A red carpet and media wall will be set up.
“The Stone Rose is a great lounge; very hip and laid back, so this event will be fun for hanging out B2B style,” Cachapero said.
“We’re in the process of signing up sponsors right now, so there will be more promotional announcements before the event as we add to the list.”
