Bijou Joins ASACP, Commits to Social Media, PSA Support

CHICAGO — Bijou Theater and Bijou Video announced today that it has become a member of online child protection group ASACP.

The company said it is committed to providing ongoing support to the group via social media messaging and development of public service announcement videos for use by ASACP featuring commentary from Bijou founder Steven Toushin.

“Steven Toushin, founder of the Bijou Theater and Bijou Video, is celebrating 40 years in business. As part of this momentous occasion, Mr. Toushin is announcing the launch of both his websites and ASACP membership," said ASACP CEO Joan Irvine.

She added, "We are pleased that Steven wanted to begin this new venture with the ASACP Approved Member button and the RTA meta-tag on his sites to demonstrate his ongoing commitment to child protection and business ethics. These two factors play a role in why Steven has been in business for so long."

Bijou said it will distribute ASACP messaging and produce purpose-driven PSA videos which speak to the importance of the ASACP mission and how consumers and industry alike can contribute.
