'Simpsons XXX' Trailer Becomes YouTube Hit

CANOGA PARK, Calif. — The new safe-for-work trailer for "Simpsons: The XXX Parody" has generated more than two million views on YouTube in a matter of days.

By the second day the trailer hit the No. 1 viewed video in the “entertainment” category and the No. 2 overall video on YouTube.

“This is amazing," said Lee Roy Myers, who directed the parody for Full Spread Entertainment and LFP. “I mean, I knew our latest parody was going to be a hit and push a few boundaries for people, but I didn’t expect it to literally become an overnight sensation. I’m ridiculously excited to see how the success of 'Simpsons: The XXX Parody' continues to take off.”

Simpsons: The XXX Parody, distributed by LFP Video, will be available on DVD Jan. 24.
