The new company is owned by Exquisite Multimedia, Inc.’s Jerry, who enlisted Levine as the President of Sales.
Exile has inked an exclusive deal is with Penthouse Video and will distribute the studio’s first 3D release on Blu-ray Disc, according to the company.
“Exquisite, through its new division, Exile is the ideal home for the distribution requirements of Penthouse’s DVDs, since it is based on a wealth of industry knowledge and experience.” said Kelly Holland, president of Penthouse Studios.
She added, “Howard and Jerry continue to demonstrate a top notch ability to successfully market a title in the retail space to access maximum profits for a title.”
Levine told XBIZ that the company will also be distributing movies for Peter Girls and Actuality XXX.
“We’re only involved in non-competing studios so they won’t interfere in each others' productions. Over the years, I’ve had numerous offers to help start an independent distribution venture. Jerry’s offer was the first one I felt comfortable with. We share the same vision for Exile, as an alternative to the massive distribution companies with no knowledge of the product they sell. Exile is the way business should be done.”
He added, “We’re only looking for high-end content. We’re all about customer service.”
Levine said he also has secured a deal with Kevin Blatt’s company Bizzle Inc. to provide Exile Distribution with celebrity videos.
The new company will be operating out of the Exquisite Video facility in Chatsworth, Calif.
