Nikki Benz Named 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year

NEW YORK — Penthouse Magazine on Thursday announced that adult film star Nikki Benz has been selected as the 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year. The coveted title comes with a year-long exclusive contract with Penthouse and the one-of-a-kind Pet of the Year, diamond key necklace.

Benz, a native of Toronto, graces the cover of the January 2011 issue with an all-new Pet of the Year pictorial inside the magazine that will be available on newsstands nationwide on Dec. 14. The popular performer and feature dancer first appeared on the pages of Penthouse in April 2010.

"I've always wanted to be a Penthouse Pet, but never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd become the 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year," Benz said. "I would like to thank my fans, my friends and my family for their support. I am thrilled to have been chosen to represent such a powerhouse brand."

Benz, who will celebrate her birthday on Saturday, will now embark on a year-long tour of North America meeting fans, shooting photos and video and representing various Penthouse products. She can also be seen at 4 p.m. PST every Thursday on FOXSports.com, where she appears in a recurring role on the comedy series "Cubed," playing the hot, sports-loving cleaning lady giving team advice to office workers.

"It is the ultimate honor to be crowned Penthouse Pet of the Year and I will be wearing my Penthouse crown key necklace with great pride," Benz said. "In fact, I may never take it off!"

Benz accepts the crown from 2010 Pet of the Year Taylor Vixen. It caps off a banner year for the performer who traveled the world, making appearances in Australia and Greece with numerous U.S. cities in between. This year Benz also graced the covers of Men's World in the U.K. and The Picture magazine in Australia, as well as earning the Danni's Hard Drive Girl of the Month honor for September.

She began her adult movie career as an exclusive contract girl for Pleasure Productions in 2002.
