CCBill Ranks in Top 500 Most Important Domains

TEMPE, Ariz. — Global e-commerce solutions provider CCBill announced today the latest Linkscape Web Index for November lists the CCBill.com domain among the top 500 most important on the Internet.

The ranking, put forth by SEOmoz.com, illustrates CCBill has more than 13 million external links and nearly 67,000 linking root domains.

“I think what this ranking shows is the prominence CCBill and online payment processing have in today’s market," said Jake Powers, vice president of e-commerce for CCBill.

"Merchants of all kinds have been and are seeking a trustworthy and reliable solutions for taking consumers’ payments. For more than a decade, we have been able to meet that need.

The ranking is determined through data sourced from more than 103 million domains and 40 billion web pages. It also corresponds to metrics contained in other popular web traffic analyzers.

One such service indicates CCBill.com has a high traffic ranking both worldwide and in the U.S.

“Merchants want to know they can reach consumers regardless of geographical location," Powers said.

"The global solutions we have enable them to do that, and I believe some of the site rankings we are now seeing reinforce the global market mentality of merchants and of billing solutions providers.

CCBill.com recently launched a redesigned website and client administrative portal.
