NakedSword Launches Exclusive Web Series

SAN FRANCISCO — NakedSword premiered today the first episode in its gay web series “Golden Gate.”

The episode began streaming using NakedSword’s newly implemented Silverlight player and is exclusively available to members with new content every week.

“A NakedSword original production may seem like a no-brainer, but I wanted to make sure that we were in a position to be able to produce a series that was good enough to put the NakedSword name on,” said Tim Valenti, NakedSword CEO and executive producer of the series.

“Simply, ‘Golden Gate’ has wildly exceeded my expectations and I couldn’t be prouder of the end product.”

Season one of “Golden Gate” is directed by Chris Ward. Season two, which is already in production, is being shot by director Tony DiMarco and the casts of both seasons feature current gay stars as well as some newcomers.

NakedSword said that over the past 10 years, it has worked with top studios to provide members with gay adult content, so it was a natural transition to start producing its own.

The company said in between the bi-weekly release of each new episode, members can enjoy solo clips, behind-the-scenes vignettes, model interviews and more content.

In addition to online streaming, each season of “Golden Gate” will be released quarterly on DVD to retail outlets.
