Good Vibrations Partners With 3 Nonprofits for the Holidays

SAN FRANCISCO — This holiday season Good Vibrations has announced its partnership with three different, regional nonprofits that serve its retail communities.

In November and December, Good Vibrations’ customers can support their local organizations by making a financial gift to the Women’s Community Clinic in San Francisco, the Berkeley Free Clinic in Berkeley, and the AIDS Action Committee in Boston at the time of their Good Vibrations purchase in the store or online.

GiVe is Good Vibrations' extensive donation and sponsorship program. For more than 30 years, Good Vibrations has partnered with hundreds of local and national non-profit organizations donating products, advertising and sponsorship for fundraisers and has provided support for women’s shelters, HIV/AIDS research, art programs, LGBT benefits, breast cancer awareness and others.

Additionally, every several months Good Vibrations partners with a different nonprofit organization and encourages customers to contribute directly to them at checkout, online and in the stores, giving 100 percent of the money raised from donations goes to the recipient organization.

"Physical health is the cornerstone of well-being, and everyone should have access to quality health care and information,” Good Vibrations COO Jackie Strano said. “We appreciate the interconnectedness of physical and sexual health, and are proud to partner with organizations that provide healthcare to those who need it, regardless of their economic standing. "

“These three organizations have proven their commitment to quality services for all, and that benefits everyone,” Good Vibe’s staff sexologist Dr. Carol Queen said. “ We are confident that our customers will appreciate an easy opportunity to make a difference, for themselves and people in their communities. Let’s show these fine health providers some love!”
