The deal includes all future releases as well as Massive’s existing library of titles, including the company’s “Hard Cops,” “Cock Scene Investigators” and “Trucker Lines.” The first release under the agreement will be “Hard Mechanics 2,” which has a Jan. 30 street date.
“I am thrilled to be working with Jim Kohls, Mark Hamilton and their distribution team,” John Bruno, owner of Massive Studio, said. “They will play a key role in the growth and development of Massive Studio in the coming years. I don’t think Massive could be in better hands.”
The announcement of the deal comes one week after Pulse announced it also will handle DVD, broadcast and hotel/motel business for Jekyll & Hyde Productions.
Launched in August, Pulse has quickly signed a number of gay-themed studios, including Falcon, High Octane, Mustang, StraightCollegeMen.com and Jocks. The company also distributes straight content from Club DVD, Lennox Films and its in-house studio, Pulse Pictures, as well as lesbian-themed movies from Erocktavision.
