Playboy Executive Joins Penthouse Magazine

NEW YORK — Mark Rudolph, former executive vice president and managing director of Playboy Television International-Playboy Entertainment Group, has been officially hired by Penthouse Magazine as its new president of licensing.

Rudolph will be responsible for the daily operations of Penthouse’s global licensing business including Penthouse merchandising, publications and clubs, as well as the forthcoming Penthouse television and video broadcast platform.

“Our strategy to recruit top-notch talent for the re-launch of Penthouse is and has been in motion for some time now,” Penthouse CEO Marc Bell said. “We’re thrilled to have Mark joining the Penthouse family.”

Rudolph has extensive international television experience, having worked at Playboy for several years during which time he was responsible for the daily operations of Playboy TV International, including 30 channels in Europe, Latin America and Asia, programming and sales, and joint ventures PTVLA and Playboy Channel Japan.

Prior to his work with Playboy, Rudolph served as managing director of Turner International Networks. He also has served as chief operations officer for Film Four and CEO of Nethold Electronic Media BV.

Rudolph holds an International MBA from The American Graduate School of International Management and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Arizona. He also studied at the University of Geneva, Switzerland and The European American Study Center in Basel, Switzerland.
