Adult Star Tommy D Announces Retirement

ROHNERT PARK, Calif. — Bi-sexual adult performer Tommy D has announced his retirement from the adult industry after nearly a decade in front of the camera.

Tommy D made the announcement from the Next Door Studios offices saying he will stop performing and filming this month.

“It was a difficult decision to leave something that I have enjoyed so much," he said. "But after nine years there comes a time when your priorities change. This decision to retire was made to give me more time to focus on the other things I love in my life, including my other full time job in the construction sector.

“This has been an exciting chapter in my life. I cannot believe how quickly ten years have gone by. The people that I have worked with and become friends with in this industry over the years have all made it very worthwhile and memorable. And what has made it even more special are the loyal fans that have followed my career and encouraged me over the years. With this chapter closing I'm looking forward to the future and what my next chapter will bring."

Tommy confirmed during his announcement that while he is retiring from performing, his entire collection of video work that has been filmed over the years, will remain available for everyone to watch through his membership site, TommyDXXX.com.

"This is a bitter sweet day for all of us here at Next Door Studios," said Stephan Sirard, president of Next Door Entertainment.

"We are all sad to see Tommy retiring but we are also very grateful for all of his great work and professionalism over the years. He is indeed a very special and rare find in this industry. All of us wish him the very best as he embarks on the next chapter in his life.”

Over the years Tommy D was the cover boy in five magazines, won four awards and filmed almost 300 scenes with Next Door Studios.

Tommy concluded his retirement announcement by saying, "I don't feel like this is the end of anything. I hope that the mark I've made on the adult film industry will continue to inspire and motivate those that follow to forge their own path and follow their hearts. I've not only been a performer but also a fan of porn for all my adult life and I can't wait to see what the next generation of young stars has in store for us. Good luck to all of you and thank you so much for all the support. Stay horny!”
