This marks the first time in more than two years that Simone has not handled her own products and a new path for Boulevard, best known for distributing leading gay studios and producers.
The first title to be released through Boulevard will be “Julie Simone, Sadistic Bitch” — the first installment of her new “FemDom” video line. Simone’s entire catalog and four lines will also be available.
“We’re excited to have Julie on board,” Boulevard Distribution Owner Andy Goode said.
He added, “Distributing her DVDs marks a new direction for us. The fetish genre is a good vehicle for us to start branching out with. Julie is the best in the business at what she does, so it seemed like the logical choice. For the sexual connoisseurs amongst us, Julie Simone's work is a must-own. It should be owned, referred back to and cherished for the rest of our lives. Take a peek at one and you'll agree."
Simone said her focus is now on production rather than distribution that’s become too time consuming.
“I went with Andy because I know I can trust him with my lines and he’s one of the best distributors in adult," Simone said. "He appreciates my work and has never suggested I water it down or compromise my artistic vision which is important to me."
