The event features Tobi Hill-Meyer, director of the recently released film “Doing It Ourselves: The Trans Women Porn Project,” and Ducky Doolittle, sex educator and former peep show girl.
Other performers include Laura G. Duncan, singer and escort Billy Pelt and dominatrix Alithea Howes.
The Red Umbrella Diaries is a monthly storytelling series where people, who’ve been involved in the adult industry, share their personal stories.
The series is produced and hosted by Audacia Ray, a former sex worker and author.
In addition to the live events in New York, the Red Umbrella Project includes a weekly podcast featuring stories from the live events, and a monthly blog carnival.
The event will be held from 8-10 p.m. at Happy Ending, located in New York’s Lower East side.
