Jennifer James Films Launches Post-Production Branch

MARINA DEL REY, Calif. — Jennifer James Films has reorganized into a full production house and will introduce its post-production branch at the January Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas.

Called JJF Post, the new division will not only handle post-production for JJF movies but also for other production studios. James said she decided to offer the service to other companies when she became aware that most studios shooting in high-definition aren't cutting in hi-def because the process is so complicated.

“We are venturing into hi-def editing in a way that many of the post-production houses have not,” James said. “We use no compression or conversion in the process, so the quality of the high-definition film is never lost in transference to the editing bay.”

James said most editing houses download hi-def masters to video before editing.

“That’s not good enough, in my opinion,” she said. JJF Post already has a deal in place to do post-production work on a film from Don Hollywood and Brokke Hunter.

The company also will have an advanced copy of it latest title, “The Fed Who Loved Me,” on hand at the show to give distributors and retailers a first-hand look at the results of its new production capabilities.

Starring Ariana Jolie, Nicki Hunter, Brooke Hunter, Nick Manning, Kyle Stone, Hollywood and Don Hollywood, “The Fed Who Loved Me” is a hardcore twist on the James Bond-style spy thriller, told from a Bond girl’s point of view.

“I’ve always wanted to do this story for an adult audience because it lends itself so well to the idea of a romantic adult feature,” James said. “This story has it all; lust, intrigue, loss and ultimately emotional strength in the resolution of the heroine’s story.”
