The demo version of “I Want Your Love” will screen at international film festivals for the rest of the year to build momentum for the full-length release in 2011.
The company says aspiring actors are invited to audition for “I Want Your Love” in San Francisco on both Saturday, Sept. 18 and Saturday, Oct. 2.
Mathews is looking for men of all physical types between the ages of 21 and 35 who are comfortable with their bodies and comfortable having sex on camera.
He said he finished a successful casting session in New York last month.
“The Manhattan auditions raised the bar high with a steady stream of guys who were as sexy as they were candid and introspective,” Mathews said. “But San Francisco is where the movie takes place, so we're excited to see what our local pool of talent has to share.”
Written and directed by Mathews, whose last project was the “In Their Room” series, “I Want Your Love” follows multiple relationships among a group of San Francisco friends and includes real hardcore sex.
