Additionally, DP said its web hosting service has reported a record number of downloads of the exclusive iPhone and iPad content from BodyHeatXXX.com.
The company also reported that "Body Heat" pre-orders have exceeded its expectations by more than "138 percent," prompting a second pressing before the title hits stores Sept. 21. According to DP, sales numbers for the firefighter epic have already surpassed those of bestselling Digital Playground titles "Fly Girls," "Teachers," "Babysitters," "Cheerleaders" and "Nurses."
Each of the Digital Playground contract stars — Jesse Jane, Kayden Kross, Riley Steele, Raven Alexis and Katsuni — appears in the movie, which was directed by Robby D.
Digital Playground founder and director Joone said the movie "has such broad appeal," while CEO Samantha Lewis added, "This is truly a movie where you can sit down and watch it with your significant other."
The full-length, two-disc DVD and Blu-ray will street Sept. 21 and includes a behind-the-scenes reel, photo gallery, deleted scenes, bonus trailers and more.
