“Since the conclusion of the 2010 edition of Miss FreeOnes, both fans and models have been asking us if we’re going to hold a 2011 contest. The answer is yes,” said Petra, the contest organizer. “At the end of the last contest, we got an overwhelming amount of feedback about how voters and contestants thought the contest went. I’m pleased to say that due to that feedback, I’m confident that 2011 is going to be even bigger and better!
The 2011 contest, which begins on Nov. 15, is open to any erotic model or porn star that has a section on FreeOnes and is registered and verified as an Official Checked Star Member on the FreeOnes Message Board.
The new contest follows a different format than in the past, the company said. However, like the last contest, 2011 will feature a popularity contest where all the eligible contestants will compete for the supreme title of Miss FreeOnes 2011 in three separate elimination rounds over a month and a half.
“The major change between contests is of course the length of time the contest will be run,” Petra said. “We’ve decided to go with three rounds in a month and a half. We got a lot of complaints from voters and contestants that three months was too long and voters got bored. To keep things fresh and exciting, the rounds will be short and fierce.”
The 2011 contest will consist of six categories that voters can nominate their favorite contestants into so they have more chances to win a prize.
The six categories that have been chosen for Miss FreeOnes 2011 are Best European Porn Star, Hottest Cam Starlet, Hottest Adult Model, FreeOnes Favorite Newcomer, Best Official Site and Top Official Checked Star Member. The Category part of Miss FreeOnes will run at the same time as the popularity contest and in three rounds as well.
“We also decided to add categories to the contest this year for two reasons,” Petra said. “The first reason is we want to give voters something more to do than just make a few votes each day. The other reason is we want to give more contestants an opportunity to win! A girl who has been added to FreeOnes in 2010 could easily be eliminated from the popularity contest because she’s not very well known, however, she could still go on to compete in the FreeOnes Favorite Newcomer category!”
According to FreeOnes, its members will now have more control of the contest. Voters who aren’t registered with MyFreeOnes will still be able to vote; however their votes will have much less power than someone who has registered to MyFreeOnes.
In addition, based on the length of time a user has been registered with MyFreeOnes, members will be able to completely bypass the captcha that anonymous voters must solve, they will earn FreeOnes points for voting daily, and they will be able to save their votes from day to day instead of having to go through the entire voting process daily.
"The last major change that we have added to the 2011 contest format is we are accepting sponsors for Miss FreeOnes,” Petra said. “We had several companies that made offers to us for the 2010 contest so we decided to make four levels of sponsorship for those that are interested. Depending on which package is chosen, a sponsor gets mentioned on anything from the award announcement party to having their logo on the main page. Platinum Sponsors get to choose one of the six categories to sponsor!"

The prizes for the 2011 contest will be announced soon, but it will be at least $15,000 in total prize money, the company said.
