New Sensations Wraps Shooting on 'Flintstones' Parody

CHATSWORTH, Calif. – New Sensations and director Will Ryder wrapped filming on the studio's latest spoof, “The Flintstones: A XXX Parody.”

The four-day shoot emphasized “authenticity” with Ryder remaining faithful to the popular cartoon.

The company said the movie yielded “spot on performances from Hillary Scott as Wilma, Brooke Lee Adams as Betty, Haley Winter as Pebbles, Misty Stone as Miss Hathaway, Anthony Rosano as Barney and Peter O’Toole as Fred.”

Ryder said, “We have a lively mix of excellent actors including some big time veterans and a brand new, adorable girl playing Pebbles who is as cute as a button. I’m almost in shock to think she will be getting naked and having wild sex. New Sensations had a great idea to produce ‘The Flintstones: A XXX Parody' and I’m damn glad to be the one directing it.”

The cast also includes Seth Gamble as Bam Bam, Dale Dabone as Tyler and Rod Fontana as Mr. Slate.

The producers said they, along with Ryder, spent weeks matching photos of performers against drawings from the cartoon. Dozens of actors were called in for several rounds of readings before Ryder settled on the perfect cast to capture the show.

In addition to the cast, New Sensations said its focus on authenticity extended to the set. The Flintstones’ living room was re-created down to the stone TV set. A working replica of Fred’s iconic car was built for actor Peter O’Toole to run around in. The most ambitious of the sets was the exterior of the Flintstones’ house, constructed out of 1200 pounds of plaster, 400 pounds of wood, 60 pounds of metal and 50 pounds of paint.

New Sensations VP of Global Sales Belle Casten said, “Will has proven he is one of the most resourceful directors in the industry, creating awarded parodies with conservative budgets. Over the past week, we witnessed what he was able to accomplish on the set of 'The Flintstones: A XXX Parody.’ His attention to detail was impeccable and will result in a fun, authentic adaptation of the hit TV show, including sex scenes fans were only able to imagine.”

The movie was penned by New Sensations’ Tyrone Shuz. The story line includes Fred believing Wilma is cheating on him, Pebble’s sexual coming out and more.
