The movie stars Sunny Lane who portrays the starring character in what Metro describes as a “re-imagining of the classic ‘Alice In Wonderland’” tale.
"Initial sales of ‘Alice’ have been much higher than expected, driven from the Alice-2010 website," said Rick Porras, Metro's general manager.
“Adding wild costumed characters and hot sex to this fantasy story has sparked enormous public interest and the movie continues to get top reviews."
The company said it released a partial scene from the movie on PornHub, which has been viewed more than 100,000 times in less than five days with a high “thumbs up” rating.
In related news, Metro announced that Lane will be appearing live on FullNaked at 8 p.m. EST on Sept. 2 and 3 to chat with her fans and give a live performance as her alter-ego, Alice.
The star will also be live on Sirius/XM Radio on Aug. 26 at 6:30 p.m. PDT on the Raw Dog Channel.
Metro executives said a private release party in Hollywood and promotional tour schedule for Lane are in the works, as well as press screenings, mainstream advertising and social media marketing that will give opportunities for fans to win exclusive prizes.
