Metro to Bring Legal Pink to the U.S.

HOLLYWOOD, Calif.— Metro Interactive has announced a deal to distribute the popular European-produced series Legal Pink in North America beginning with the Jan. 17 release of “Bubble Gum Virgins.”

Winner of the 2005 Venus Sign Award, Legal Pink videos previously were available in the U.S. only through the Internet. Legal Pink will now have its own North American label distributed by Metro Interactive.

“Bubble Gum Virgins” will be the first of what will be three Legal Pink titles per month from the company. The movie stars Susana, Zenza Raggi, Liz Honey, Lolita, Yasmine Gold, Sandra, Bruno Sx, Alex Devine, Ram and Esmeralda.

“We are very happy to acquire the distribution rights to such a well respected franchise,” Metro Interactive Vice President of Operations Noel Bloom said. “The DVD packaging is tremendous and really sets up the debut volume quite nicely for our Jan. 17 release.”

Jeff Mullen, president of All Media Play, which handles PR and marketing for Metro titles, told XBiz that Legal Pink has been producing titles in Europe for several years. The company will be supplying Metro with new material as well as some of its existing titles as part of the deal.

“The deal for the Legal Pink line is a great addition for Metro Interactive as it will provide a steady diet of fresh faces not normally recognized by the US market," Mullen said. "Anytime you can get well shot porn with cute, fresh girls is a good thing and a deal that had to be made. Metro didn’t waste anytime getting this one done.”

The packaging Bloom refers to is an eight-panel foldout of images from the premiere edition. Legal Pink joins other Metro labels, including FusXion, Loaded Digital, BadAss and Cal Vista.
