3D Porn Movie Begins Filming

HONG KONG – Filmmakers in Hong Kong are releasing 3D porn movie “3D Sex and Zen,” based on “The Carnal Prayer Mat,” a classic erotic Chinese tale and stars Yukiko Suo and Saori Hara.

The movie is set for a May 2011 release.

First shot as soft Chinese erotica, the 3D version will be hardcore with a $4 million production budget.

Because of local censorship, the movie will likely be blocked in mainland China according to producer Stephen Shiu. But he revealed that deals are already beginning to line up from pay TV providers in Hong Kong and similar offers are being discussed in Japan and Korea.

In addition to distribution throughout Asia, the producers said that the film crew has already received calls from Europe and the U.S.
