Spencer's Online Now Distributing Tenga

ATLANTA — Liberator has inked a deal with Spencer Gifts to offer the Tenga line of male masturbators through the retail chain's online store.

Spencer Gifts operates more than 600 physical stores in the U.S. and Canada. Spencer’s Online has the unique opportunity to test consumer demand and response to specific products in an online evaluation, before they are stocked in the physical retail stores, the company said.

“The deal with Spencer’s gives Tenga high consumer visibility, especially within the company’s core target demographic of 18 to 24-year-olds,” said Michael Kane, chief business development officer for Liberator. “Through Tenga’s partnership with Liberator and with Spencer’s online merchandising support this represent a great opportunity for sales growth for Tenga, as well as a general mainstreaming of sex toys and male masturbators into society.”

Last year, Liberator announced its partnership with Tenga, a Japanese company, for exclusive branding in North America.

Tenga male masturbators feature unique designs with a variety of textures and shapes that incorporates ergonomics with anatomy.

“Currently the No.1-selling male sex toy in Japan, Liberator was chosen as branding partner to increase the North American market share,” the company said. “Spencer’s merchandising of Tenga products will help to achieve that goal.”

Spencer’s is currently offering a selection of Tenga products for sale including Tenga Cups, Tenga Eggs and the Tenga Flip Hole. Spencer’s selection of Tenga Cups includes Deep Throat Soft, Deep Throat Hard, Deep Throat Standard and Deep Throat Ultra.

Tenga Eggs are egg-shaped masturbation sleeves with a variety of internal textures. The Tenga Eggs available through Spencer’s are Clicker, Silky, Stepper and Spider.

The Tenga Flip Hole penis stimulator features silicone ribs, nubs, gates, flaps and pumps.
