Playboy Launches TheSmokingJacket

CHICAGO — Playboy has launched its safe-for-work site, TheSmokingJacket.com, providing men with smart and sexy distractions throughout the day.

According to the company, the non-nude site is a men’s entertainment destination produced specifically for the blogosphere and features shorter posts and more viral content.

“TheSmokingJacket.com is the ultimate safe-for-work Internet experience for men, and a one-stop shop for all that is cool online,” said Jimmy Jellinek, chief content officer and editorial director of Playboy and Playboy.com.

“Cube dwellers and office drones alike shall rejoice at this fun, sexy, satirical antidote to the drudgery of the work day.”

The company says TheSmokingJacket will feature a constant stream of content throughout the day in categories that include girls, entertainment, sex, videos and lifestyle.

The site will also spotlight some of best links and funniest videos from the Internet as well as sexy, non-nude photos from Playboy’s archives.
