Le Dame Footwear Appearing on ‘RuPaul’s Drag U’ Tonight

VERONA, Wisc. — Le Dame Footwear’s signature line of shoes will be featured on the new reality show “RuPaul’s Drag U,” premiering tonight on the Logo channel.

“RuPaul’s Drag U” is a spin-off of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” featuring the former show’s drag queen stars performing makeovers on ordinary women to transform them into “show-stopping glamorous divas.”

Le Dame Footwear provided the complete line of shoes worn in the show.

“To be able to partner with both the ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and now ‘RuPaul’s Drag U’ is truly a great opportunity to expose our brand to a wider audience,” Le Dame Footwear founder Bernie J. Fatla said.

He added that the show will draw attention from not only Le Dame’s target audience of drag queens and cross-dressers, but women with larger feet that have difficulty finding stylish shoes.

“At the end of the day, who doesn’t want to feel sexy? Shoes can make the man or the woman,” Fatla said. “We look forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with RuPaul’s team.”

“RuPaul’s Drag U” premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on cable’s Logo channel.
