Digital Ventures Joins Decade Mobile in Wireless Deal

LOS ANGELES — Decade Mobile has announced it and Digital Ventures will launch a mobile service for AmateurStraightGuys.com, a site featuring the "straight guy seduction" niche, one of the fastest growing segments in the adult industry that features images of unattainable "straight" men in traditionally "gay" roles.

Officials with Digital Ventures say the partnership will be beneficial as Decade Mobile's roster of white label clients continues to grow and maintain online storefronts that are wirelessly enabled by Decade Mobile's delivery and billing services.

"We chose Decade Mobile as our wireless partner because they offer us unparalleled carrier access and a high rate of guaranteed payout,” Digital Ventures President Tim DePlanche said.

Decade Mobile is a provider of wireless media, including downloadable video, music, ringtones and screensavers. The company was founded by an executive team that helped evolve the North American wireless media market by generating more than $160 million annually in revenue from mobile consumers.

The company will feature its services and entertainment products during the January tradeshow in Las Vegas.

"We're very enthusiastic about powering Digital Ventures content,” Decade Mobile CEO Dean Newton said. “Digital Ventures is a leader in the straight/gay cross-over market. Amateurstraightguys.com content will be the first of that genre to enter mobile. We anticipate a strong consumer response."

“We look forward to servicing our members with yet another means to access our popular entertainment content,” DePlanche added.

Digital Ventures launched AmateurStraightGuys.com in 2000. The site offers video updates and podcasting to members, and more than 40 movie titles on its product sales site, StraightGuysVideo.com.
