According to the company, the title, which was released in Europe in May, has been credited with portraying a realistic foray into the swinging community by the film’s leading couple, Alison and Will Bloom (India Summer and James Deen).
The company says the release pairs 15 porn stars with 127 amateurs who are real members of the San Francisco swinging community, including the owners and clientele of local swingers clubs Club Kiss and Club Twist. The movie’s final scene features an orgy filmed at a real swinger’s party that takes place in San Francisco.
“It’s incredibly rare to see a movie catch on like this, especially at an international level,” CEO Richard Arnold said.
“‘An Open Invitation’ comes from a very real place and reaches out to a very real audience. It’s much more than just another adult feature.”
