GayThailand.com Designed for Visitors, Residents

BANGKOK, Thailand — GayThailand.com, a new Internet site devoted to the gay and lesbian scene in Thailand, was officially launched earlier this month.

A fully functional message board is currently live and within the two months live chat and instant messaging will be added, a company spokesperson said.

GayThailand.com is designed for those who have not been to Thailand, as well as those living or staying in Thailand. City guides are listed for several favorite gay destinations, including Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai and Phuket. There also are 17 informational articles, including "Ladyboys: Lovers With A Little Extra," "Life Of A Thai Host Boy" and "Underage Sex: Don't Do It."

Three types of membership are available: Free, Silver and Platinum. Members also can post their photos and profiles.
